Please read everything as there is A LOT of information****
This Saturday (03/14/19) is the District Tournament at Hunting Creek Reserve (Address listed below). We will meet at Sheetz at 5:00 a.m. and leave no later than 5:15 a.m. The tournament will take place rain or shine, so watch the weather and be prepared. Be sure to wear your red WHST apparel and a good pair of walking shoes/boots, as we will be doing a lot of walking.

Parking is limited and will be in a hay field, so carpool as best as you can. Once you are parked, you CANNOT move your vehicle until you leave. Wildlife Officers will be monitoring the parking area and anyone attempting to move their vehicle to a better spot, will be told to leave the property. This will be an ALL DAY event and I have heard nothing about food being provided. So, plan on bringing your own snack, drinks and lunch. I also recommend you bring folding chairs and a wagon/cart, for your equipment. Again, you will be doing a lot of walking. Pets will not be allowed so please leave Fido and Fluffy at home (service animals excluded). Make sure you check all gun and bow cases for ammo and broadheads. If you are caught with ammo or broadhead arrows, you WILL BE DISQUALIFIED and the team will be penalized 50 points! Don’t forget your eyes/ears, quivers, magazines and shotgun pouches. Hunting Creek Reserve has been kind enough to let us use their place for a long time, and we want to make sure that we maintain our relationship with them. Please pickup after yourselves. Trash cans will be located throughout the grounds, so use them. Respect their property and leave it looking better than when you arrived. PARENTS….Once the shooters are on the range, even the coaches CANNOT give them any advise. Please refrain from talking with the shooters while they are on the range. Once they leave the range, you can talk to them then. Wildlife Officers WILL remove a shooter and/or penalize the team, for any coaching while the shooter are in the range. ANY and ALL protest WILL, and MUST be made by the coaches and/or shooter (depending on the event). SHOOTERS….The hard part (test) is over, it’s time to have some fun! Y’all have been practicing for this all season and I know you are going to be great! Relax! Forget about the crowds and other teams. You know what to do and how to do it. So go out there, do you best and HAVE FUN!!!!
